Contest!

I've signed up to write the CGA Financial Accounting One Hour Contest held on March 23rd.

I've signed up for Tier 1, which is basic to intermediate financial accounting. I've got about ten days till the contest date. Which means.... lots of studying from here on. This contest can't be too easy..... its all multiple choice, done online, from 4-5 pm on march 23rd (a friday). The winner is the one with the most number of correct answers for each difficulty group (there are two). And should two people get the same number of correct answers, then its the fastest one that wins. To my understanding, that translates to.... the person who gets all the answers right the fastest wins, the rest don't have a chance. And quite possibly, there'd be some sharks who will enter the Tier 1 level even though they SHOULD be entering Tier 2 according to their knowledge base, but don't in order to increase their chances of winning. So.... the chance of me winning?

Slim to none....

But one thing is for sure. My chances are better than winning the lottery.

There was something important that I wanted to blog about yesterday (but since I already had two posts yesterday, I thought I'd wait until today. But now I can't seem to recall what it is that I wanted to talk about..... it was important tho : ).

I'm thinking of buying real juggling balls. In fact, I AM buying real juggling balls.... today..... after work. They're so damn expensive! 30 bucks for 3 balls. That'd pretty much ten bucks a piece. Kicking and throwing around 30 bucks and catching them, dropping them.... not something I want to do.... but that seems to be the price for these things..... *sigh*.

Ever heard of Pen Spinning? Its a form of contact juggling for bored office people... aka. me.

Ok, this sucks. I still can't remember the important thing that I wanted to blog about.......
