Darker than BLACK

So my good friend Akshay says to me one day, "Chibi, watch Darker than BLACK, its hype!"*

So, my good friend Akshay was also the one that recommended Bleach and Naruto to me, and some other things as well. I say I'm relatively confident about his tastes regarding slapstick shounen, at least I know even if the show's overrated, I'll still like it because well... its slapstick shounen....

So...I went and got the first two episodes of Darker than BLACK..... and my honest opinion is.... its alright. But not as 'hype' as worthy of an exclamation mark. It seems kinda average...... people with supernatural powers, main character is a college student with a secret identity.... its been done (spiderman?).

Also the title? Darker than BLACK? Seems like some kinda overly enthusiastic broadcast that this is a cool show!!! WATCH IT!!! Might as well name is something like "Supernaturally Supernatural" or.. "Mysteriously Mysterious."....

Overall, not too impressed.... not even sure if I'll continue watching it. I'm not too fond of the art either, though I'm not very picky when it comes to style.

School's starting soon for me, I'm kind of excited, kind of sad....
Going back is definitely a much more relaxed routine than being at work, so I think I'll enjoy that. Have to work on the report this weekend, gotta get everything done T_T
