Paper Cuts. Fire Emblem. Embarrassment at Work.
I have a paper cut on my ring finger on my right hand. Its a deep one. But its at a place where the skin is really thick so it doesn't actually bleed. BUT, I can open and close the cut (looks like a mouth talking when I do it) and I can feel it too... feels like rubbing two finger together, only much more sensitive to a point one notch below actually hurting. That very uncomfortable goosebumpy feeling that makes you shudder. I shall stop describing it T_T.
I've finished editing the first part of chapter 44 yesterday (usually one complete chapter will take me about 4 parts of 7 pages to do). I've sent it in to the beta already :D.
Fire Emblem. Yesterday, I finished one chapter of FE. Chapter 13: Hamil Canyon, Eirika's route. This was a really really tricky chapter for me. Why?
1. Object: Survive 11 Turns.
2. Every turn, brigands and cavaliers come out of the fortresses.
3. The enemy starts to come from the right side. Its where the boss stands. Who is a Great Knight. There's a bishop with a physic right beside him and another bishop with a berserk and a red gem. The Great Knight carries a Knight Crest.
4. Around turn 6 or 7, Cormag (wyvern rider) and another 4 wyvern riders come from south west and south east. Cormag will kill any of my guys except Seth (the Sacred Stones equivalent of Marcus) in one turn.
4. Turn 8 or 9 ish, Pablo (Boss2) a Sage, with a Purify (I think) comes from the left (west). The Purify is a long distance weapon, will kill any of my men in one blow and has a hit % of 88. Pablo comes in with an army of about 10-13 mercs (a mix of sword, axe, and lance users) AND a berserker, who will kill any of my guys except my cavaliers and seth in one blow.
Now, its pretty easy to sit there for 11 turns..... BUT I want to:
1. Recruit Cormag, which I have to use Eirika to talk to... and she's a Lord, so she's weak (until she gets a horse, then she kicks ass) but for now, she's a rapier flaying nincompoop.
2. Kill Boss 1 (The Great Knight) and take his Knight Crest.
3. Steal the Red Gem from the bishop with the Berserk.
4. Kill Pablo and that Berserker with Pablo the turn they come into the field.
5. Don't forget there are more soldiers coming out of the fortresses EVERY FRIGGIN TURN.
6. Oh yeah... you gotta kill the Great Knight last, because as soon as you do, the chapter is over.
Took me forever.
I'm at 67% support convo! YAAAY!!
Now, embarrassment at Work. I requested to leave early tomorrow because I needed to go to school and attend a reception. So I email the person who I'd talked to before to arrange this. And then she emails everyone telling them I'll be away, and that I'll be going to attend the reception for Dean's Honour Roll....
And for the rest of the while, I'm getting congratulatuions by person and email T_T.
*Sigh*
I don't like making a big deal of my achievements...... because you know, the easiest way to get off a high horse, is to never get on. I've learned that the hard way, believe you me.
What can I say? I'm a vain praise whore..... when I get praised.... my performance drops until I don't get praised anymore.... and that's not good T_T.
So yeah... pride is a bad thing. Even IF he's cute in FMA, he's still one of the SEVEN DEADLY SINS!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, I'm done babbling. I'm going to school tomorrow, I'll probably also pick up some textbooks for next semester :D And sell some of my old ones....
And I still need a hair cut T_T.
