Working on this and that.
Hello world wide web and the small circle of people that actually bother to visit this place. I welcome you to my turf. Let me tell you a bit of a boring story of what has transpired the last few days.
Well, the first thing is that yesterday, I went to this Fellowship reception and I swear everyone looked so smart. I mean, first of all, the place was filled with Asians, lol. And they were all recipients of this Accountancy Fellowship that I also got, but seriously, they made me feel so inferior.
All of the "Fellows" were paired up with an Alumni of the School of Accountancy of Waterloo. My allumni is this guy with initials E.B. (I don't want to disclose names) and he was pretty nice to talk with. I had fun there, but talking to the professors and such, it made me feel very bad that I wasn't doing that well.
So now, I guess I have a new motivation to study.
Another thing I did yesterday was that after the reception, I went to LifeSong, which is the school's Chinese Christian Fellowship presentation. It was very impressive and the people there were really nice.
Yup, I think that's it. Um... I need to get back to work. I didn't get as much work done as I hoped I would today because I um... kinda fell asleep in the afternoon and slept for like... 3 hours.
But I think I almost performed the Astral Projection thing. But I'm not too sure about it, maybe not. But I definitely had a lucid dream. I mean, I knew I was dreaming when I was dreaming and I did things trying to test like... sleep paralysis. It is said that when you're running in your dream, you get this slow motion thing going on because your body is actually paralyzed so you don't act out your dreams and I was trying to figure out if that's actually happening to me. So I started running in my dream, and lo and behold, I was able to run pretty fast in the beginning, but it started slowing down and I felt like I was running through molasses.
And then I got to my room, well my dorm room where I was sleeping and I was trying to exit the room but I got frozen and I couldn't move. Then the next thing I remember was that I was looking out from where I was lying on my bed, but I knew my eyes weren't open and the room is supposed to be dark, but it was pretty iluminated from what I saw. Then I tried to shift my astral body out of my real body by consciously sliding to the right and I could feel part of me sliding to the right. But then I woke up. So.... I dont' know..... maybe that was all a dream, maybe not.
Well, I need to go back to studying for psychology.
Oh yeah, another reason I wanna try this thing is because I want to be able to read outside of my body. Think about it, if you can read your books while you're asleep, that's a few more hours of study time. I don't know..... if this works, then whoo hoo~!
Hehe. Ok, I'm going back to studying. Bye.
