Taking a small break
I've just finished reading a chapter of Economics and am rewarding myself with a small break. I'm going to spend about 15 minutes blogging before I go back to working.
Well, I don't know what to blog about.... but I just gotta say, there's this manga called Ares that I'm totally hooked on. It's completely shonen and lots of blood, killing, and fighting, but I love it~!
The synopsis of the story goes something like this:
This one eyed kid named Ares has no home, no where to go and no money. He enters this town in the land of Chronos and sees this Ad advertising the Temple Mercenaries. At the bottom, it says PS: Will provide food. PPS: Will provide roof. He was like, 3 hot and a cot and all I gotta do is join the mercenaries? Alright, I'll do it. But before he does that, he has to save a girl who kindly gave him some food by killing some delinquents and meeting a new friend who is also on the way to the Temple Mercenaries.
Its really a VERY good story. But really, aside from lots of fighting and cool looking guys....... there's really not much of a story T_T. But I like it.... too bad only 7 volumes are out.... man~! And the entire story is 19 volumes long.... I wanna read the other 12!
Aside from that, I'm still diligently working on editing Tokyo Crazy Paradise, except I'm not hearing anything from Amy right now, since she does about half of the work (the proofreading, and adding in missing sound effects that I can't add because of my poor chinese...). But yeah.... I'm hoping to release it sometime in November, hopefully.
Alrite. What else to say before I go back and read another chapter of Economics? Hm... Oh, Bubble gun is really really chewy. hehe. Yesterday, I went to do the groceries and beside Food Basics there's this really large Dollarama and I went in and bought Bubblicious bubble gum packs. I realize I'm chewing on synthesized polymers (please... did you think gum was STILL made from tree gum?), but its soooo good T___T.
Hmm.... what else? Um... going home next week~! Yay! Finally, I can relax~! I swear, i'm not taking any homework with me that weekend.... except for math... need to do math. hehe.
Ok, I need to go back to studying.

PS: I'm going to take Chinese next semester, because I have an extra elective. Here's the course description:
An introductory course approporiate for students who have been exposed to Chinese at school, home or work but who have no prior written knowledge of Chinese characters. The course will develop basic listeing, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Practical oral and written exercises are used to provide a firm grammatical foundation for further study.
Hehe.
