My life thus far.
Third week into co-op.
Work is pretty good. I feel pretty relaxed and much more comfortable in this position than my previous co-op job.
Theonly real complaint I have is the fact that I have to get up so early to commute >.>
That, and the fact that I feel there isn't enough time in a day to do what I want. Here's my list of random things I'm TRYING to do, tho a lot of it is currently in the backburner....
Givens:
- Co-op. Full Time Job. Leave house at 7:00 am, get home around 6:30 pm.
- Certain things that are a natural waste of time and can't be avoided (these items include a MODEST dose of TV and Anime, Chatting with parents, working on random projects to assist friends (read: Yang's movie), sitting around staring into space, daydreaming, [over]sleeping... etc)
Things I'm doing:
Studying for CFA Exam: I read on the Go Train for about 30 minutes one way. So for about 1 hour on the road. I study, or at least try very hard to, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On the weekend, if I'm not doing other stuff (read: Yang's film), then I'll be studying (read: trying really hard to study) for the CFA exam. Sadly to say, this SHOULD be my one and only Things to Do, because it technically is supposed to suck the life out of me alone (or so they say).
Keyboarding: So for some crazy reason, I've taken up keyboarding. My parents got me one for christmas and I've been playing with it whenever I'm home. Which isn't saying a lot, since after I got it for christmas, I went to school for 8 months and just got back in August. But nevertheless, I finally learned Fur Elise and moved on to "The Entertainer". I'm hoping to get good enough to play some Anime tunes... all in good time, all in good time.
Learning to play Go: So this one....is kinda on hiatus. I TRY, I really do, but its hard to do everything. Whenever, I remember and have the time to, I pull out my life and death problem book and plow through 4 or 5 questions. Because I'm a beginner and utterly retarded when it comes to "seeing" things, 4-5 questions take me about 30-45 minutes... In terms of playing with an actual person, I always lose.
Working on Duh!!: Dun dun dun~! Fanfare~! W0w. So like, after HOW MANY YEARS?? I've finally finally started to work on this project, and SURPRISINGLY, haven't gotten sick of it yet (I'm usually really prone to get sick of stuff fairly quickly).
TCP: Oh, Tcp TCp...... *sigh* Why am I still doing this? Because.... I don't know... I just am. I'm [semi] committed to release about a chapter a MONTH.... that's a long time, but also quite a bit of work for me.
Things I want to do:
Read more Books: I recently read the first book of Homecoming of Orson Scott Card. I think I will stop there. From the reviews I've read, I'm in for a dissapointing ending. The first book rocks my socks. I'll just keep it like that and let me imagination fill out the rest of the story. I don't want to be dissapointed by anything Card writes. That is all. But that aside, I do wish I have the time to read more books.
Painting: My tablet is majorly collecting dust... I've a paiting half finished that's about a YEAR overdue...oh gee. I wish I could just get off my butt and actually find the TIME to do this...
Learn Japanese: Huh.... erm... does watching Anime count? :P Yeah, I don't know what happened to this one. I used to listen to Pimsleur whenever I make long trips whereever (Go Train, Greyhound etc), but since I've dedicated my train time to STUDYING CFA EXAM, I can't really learn japanese at the same time... I suppose the only other time is when I'm working on Duh!! and doing major inking, drawing, or toning (anything that doesn't really require me to THINK) (read: when I'm not writing the story, panelling, or editing script). I'll look into that.
Learn Chinese: That, is even most uneventful that learning Japanese. Because learning Chinese involves learning how to read and write, which involves heavy brain power and TIME, both of which I don't want to really spare at this moment... We will see. I shall keep this on the list, and see if I can squeeze it in at a later date.
Juggling: I don't know where to put this, but I'm kinda still juggling. I haven't learned any new tricks in a long long time, but I'd LIKE to... this is ALSO a time consuming task that involves a lot of patience, and practice...
After a while, you realize...
There just isn't enough time. There's never enough time. It's sad. It makes me sad that I have to prioritize T_T

It wasn't heavy, but it was a big ****ing camera.

And its pretty heavy if you carry it for a long time. My arms were sore all yesterday.

True, I had to keep switching it in my hands because they were getting fatigued.
But then again, if you hold a glass of water for a long time...
