Gundam 00

I've just finished watching the first 9 episodes of Gundam 00 and here's what I have to say.

Much better than the SeeD series. I think in terms of story, the quality is going back to the original gundam series. More focus on politics and logic, which is excellent. A lot of things that are classic to Gundam is in this series. We've got Haro, who hasn't made an appearance in Wing, but was around for most of the other ones (don't remember seeing Haro in Victory Gundam... yet).

The weapons again are very cool and new concepts are added. This time, we've got 4 Gundams. There's a lot of stuff I'm picking out from Gundam 00 that resembles Wing. For example, we've got this princess of this country that reminds me of Relena. The main gundam pilot reminds me of Heero... and Shin at the same time.

The battle tactics are really exciting and in my opinion the highlight of this series thus far. This was something I felt SeeD was lacking. SeeD was a lot of "charge in and blow up" kind of deal.

Overall, definitely a keeper.
