Who coined the word Blog??
Well, I'm interested in the origin of the word, BLOG. Where does it come from, what did it represent before the time of the internet? Was it non-existent then? Hm.. well, it has been brough to my attention that the word Blog has the word 'log' in it. Yes, I suppose a Blog is a log.... a record of one's happenings. It was used as such even before the times of internet. I suppose it is save to say that Blog, Journal, Diary could be considered synonyms.
Hm.. well, that's all I really have to say. What else? Yes, Handmaid's Tale is a very ...interesting book. I'm beginning to question our culture. I have to agree that it is indeed a book of academic worth, it is very linguistically articulate, and should I be able to write as well as Margaret Atwood...... I would potentially refrain from such....disturbing topics. It is considerably easier, in my opinion, to write something good when there is sexual content involved. We, as a species, seem to be very oriented around that subject. I suppose aside from the fact that we try to 'hide' the fact that we are oriented around that subject, we are not much different from bonobo monkeys.
Well, if you didn't like that statement.. prove me wrong -_-.
Hm.. this blog is almost leaning on the psychobabble to philosophical babble line. I don't know why I'm typing this up like this... whatever.. I'm getting confused...
Yes, back to my topic, you see, I read fanfics. Do you know what section gets the most reviews? Yes, the R rated Section. People seem to enjoy reading about other people in pain, whether physical or sexual -_-. You konw.. it's very rare to find a normal fanfic with such high ratings. Like my fanfic... I don't think my writing style, my linguistic abilities, are any worse than those that write the smutty fics, however, I'm getting 45 review, while they get 300. Now, some of them are REALLY well written, I do admit to that.. but a story that goes. "And then he did then, and then he did that, and he had walk over there and had go over here" + smuttiness, deserves over 300 reviews. It's REVOLTING!
Yes .... anyways, I'm done my rant for today. Good bye~!

1 Lushes:
I don't like that last statement...but I'm not going to prove you wrong. Mainly because it's true for the general whole of humanity. GENERAL!
And what did you expect? People want to be turned on by having their favorite characters get into..."comprimising" situations with other characters...
Ack!
Dirty!!!
